We had an excellent dinner here - everything we ordered was absolutely delicious!
Delicious, seasonal menu. We've been here a few times and it's always so good. It's a great place for a special or celebratory meal! They always have good vegetarian and vegan options!
A beautiful rustic property that provides a great experience. Its a gem for sure.
J's is a hidden gem in Bolton, at Nashoba Valley Winery. The atmosphere is romantic for two, but welcoming for a family as well. The old farmhouse where J's is located just adds charm and character to the beautiful setting. The food will not disappoint. Everything was perfectly cooked and plated so beautifully and complimented the setting wonderfully. The cocktails are to die for! Service is always top notch and goes above and beyond expectations every time! Price is on the higher side, but well worth it!
Sunday Brunch was very good.
I had a great experience dining here. Really authentic old New England feel, not rustic but quaint and charming. This is paired with a fantastic scratch kitchen! Rotating menu means there always something new to try. I recommend this for a special evening in a relaxing environment. Check the menu before you go to see what you're getting into.
We always have a great experience at J’s. The restaurant is beautiful and charming, the atmosphere is lovely, the food is fantastic and the wine, of course. Is delicious. I’m not a wine person but J’s is the only place I willingly drink wine and the server pairing recommendations have never steered me wrong.
Lovely dinner, seated in small rear dining room.Strawberry wine was very good.Nice waitress, good service.Scallop enter and Swordfish we're very good.Mussel appetizer portion was very large it could have had a bit more flavor but there was not one empty she'll and that rarely happens.Scallop chowder was wonderful. Very nice peach zabaione finished the meal.
Always fantastic food in very special old New England building with wonderful interior, lighting and terrace. If you’re looking for a special setting for a special meal this is unbeatable in the area. My recommendation is to do a wine tasting before 5.30pm when that closes, to decide your favorite wine, then go to dinner and order a bottle.
Wow. This place was just about perfect for a nice date night! Higher priced meal - but worth it for a special occasion. We showed up a little early so they gave us a glass of wine and we then walked around the garden just outside.
This was a really enjoyable meal. I ordered the premium fall tasking menu and chose quail as my main. I added the $15 for wine pairings which was a fun way to try offerings from the vineyard. The atmosphere is warm, the staff is friendly, and the food was accommodating of my and my companion's diet restrictions.
If you are a fan of Al fresco dining this is one of the best places in the Greater Boston area. Perfect setting matched with great food and exceptional service. Always a great time on Jay's patio in the summer.
The food was great! We were there for two days and tried many menu items, all were very good!
We have been going to J's over the years and the food is always exceptional. My family went to J's for Mother's Day and I want to say that they hit it out of the park! Whrn there is a set menu and a busy day,as there was for Mother's Day brunch, I tend to worry if the food will be up to the usual standard in any restaurant. I have been to other restaurants for holiday meals where the experience was hurried, overcrowded and the food sub par. Not the case at J's! The food was amazing! Did not feel rushed at all. This restaurant is a gem!
